New Features to the RunWaterloo Blog

A new year is a perfect time to instigate some changes and we are thrilled to announce some exciting changes and series that we will be introducing to the RunWaterloo blog in 2016.

We have welcomed two new bloggers, Catherine and Stacey.

About Catherine

cs_wc1Catherine has been living and training in Waterloo since 2006: first as a member and captain of Wilfrid Laurier University’s cross-country and indoor track teams, and now as a member of the Tricity Track Club. She works in finance and accounting, but has a passion for reading, writing and running. Her interest in following the competitive running scene makes this column a good fit for Catherine, as it gives her an opportunity to practice her writing and share her knowledge with the local community.

Catherine will be sharing a monthly update on the latest running news from the world of professional running. You can read her latest update for January here.
Stay tuned for her upcoming blog recapping the Olympic trials on February 13.

About Stacey
Stacey is a self confessed “runner beginner.” She is a technical representative for Saucony in Southwestern Ontario so she has had running as a regular part of her fitness regime for years, but in the last year, has sought out ways to push to the next level. Her blog will be looking at running through the eyes of a new runner as she trains for her first half marathon this year! Keep an eye out for her first blog coming up in February.

Blog Series
We always try to keep things fresh around here and you may have noticed our latest coach interview. We are doing a series on coaches in the Kitchener-Waterloo area so if you would like to be featured or have a coach you think should be featured, please send an email to [email protected] and we will make sure that they get an interview!

Of course, you are always welcome to contact us anytime if you have a local running story you think should be covered. We look forward to sharing the best of running with you in 2016!
