Run anywhere in the world

For another month my wife and I have two kids under the age of two. With two small children traveling is much harder and the type of travel my wife and I have considered is much different than what we would have considered before.

We need something that is stroller friendly, has lots of activities for small children, good food, safe, and of course, that has great places to go for a good run.

What are you looking for in running travel? If you could run or train anywhere in the world where would you go?

Interested in winning a free entry to the Harvest Half or quarter marathon? All you need to do is answer this question. The contest is open now until 9pm June 12, 2018.

“If you could run anywhere in the world where would you go?”

Two contest participants will be randomly selected to win a free entry to the #HarvestHalf – half or quarter distances. (Sorry, there is no budget for an exotic trip!) Comment on this post, or tweet or Facebook me.

Last contest

Last month we asked, “What is your best running joke or favourite running meme?”. Congratulations to Derek and Kim B who were the lucky winners of the #Waterloo10KClassic entries!

I would love to run the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim. I think it would be an amazing adventure and I might meet the Coconino Cowboys!

Thanks Paul! That would be an incredible run! Definitely would involve several stops along the route to take it all in.

I’d choose to run the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Surrounded by amazing views and history of the Inca civilization to explore.

Perhaps a bit boring but I love running around my community. It gives me a different perspective then zooming by in my car. I can wave at the people who live here, see the changes, the affects of the seasons changing. I can compare the two communities I live in. Then I get to come home to the comforts of my house. Please do not get me wrong, I love running vacations. Just came back from Pelee Island half- awesome run and have travelled to Vegas for the Rock and Roll run.. Looking forward to checking out Prince edward county in the fall. But there is something about running around my community that I truly appreciate!
