No better way to kick off our fall racing season than with this morning’s fan favourite, the TMMC Fall 5 KM Classic. 700 runners of all paces flocked to one of our flattest and fastest 5k courses, along the Speed River at scenic Riverside Park in Cambridge. We couldn’t ask for more beautiful setting for this race, as we enjoyed clear, sunny skies and a rich backdrop of changing leaves.
Partnering with the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Inc. gave this race an extra speedy feel, and the participants were racing along down the stretch in fine form. We clocked some super fast 5k times and heard about more than a few PBs that were set on this ideal course. And the kids crushed their 200m fun run as always, lots of future runners in the crowd!
