Maybe the promised “great views” didn’t materialize. But on a beautiful fall morning, it rained for the exact hour that 70 runners tackled one of the best hills in Kitchener and we loved every second of it!
Congrats to all participants especially today’s winners:
This was our first ever race at the formidable McLennan Park and it didn’t disappoint. The rain made each of the three separate climbs up the Mount even more challenging.
The first 200 photos are up, stay tuned for more.
For what it’s worth, today’s winner Jonathan Gasho ran our TMMC Fall 5 KM Classic this past Sunday (6 days ago). His pace at that race was 3:17/km and his pace today was 3:45. Those three climbs added at least 28 seconds per kilometre (and that’s over the full 5k!) Also notable is winner Alisha Sealey who won 3 of our 4 Run Pure + Simple events in 2025!
Please check out our runs page to see what’s coming up next. After this race, everything else will seem easy!

Our RW Boost program is approaching its 2025 conclusion. Even if you aren’t counting this race in your score, you are still pushing your rivals down and setting yourself up for dittos down the road!
