Spring has sprung and our runners sprang into action this afternoon for the 20th Annual endurRACE at Westmounts Sports Park in Waterloo. Temperatures are up, spirits are lifted, and the motivation is high. And no, you weren’t seeing double if you saw runners out on the course twice- that’s our 5+8k doubleheader giving you twice the challenge and two times the fun. So whether you ran the standalone 5k, or 8k, or the full 13, today’s endurRACERS were burning up the Laurel Trail. Not to be outshone, the kids racing the 400m fun run lit up the track as well. While April showers usually bring us rain (and today was no exception!), this year’s endurRACE medal also brings us an April meteor shower, complete with streaking comet magnets to commemorate your race distance(s). Coming in hot to the hardware collection!
Congrats to all of today’s participants, and thanks for always striving to aim sky high and keep that inner fire burning with Run Waterloo.
