Thank you for brightening up what could have been considered to be a cold, wet, dreary morning otherwise!
The energy was fantastic at the Conestoga Golf Club in the Township of Woolwich for our 3rd annual March event in the village of Conestogo. Runners braved some enormous puddles and heavy rains that let up just after the race started.
Congratulations to all participants! There is a finish line video linked directly in the results. We apologize for a technical error that missed about 5 minutes of finishers in the middle of the race.
The 5k is a tricky distance because it can be long and painful, regardless of your fitness level. We hope that this event has helped you train through the winter and benchmark your abilities as we look towards spring running.
Almost 200 photos have been uploaded to our Flickr site and hundreds more are on the way.
RW Boost Update
Our annual Boost competition is getting interesting after just two races. Only Ivy Friedman was able to keep the since February, while Ian McCurdy and Michael McKay were able to edge out previous leaders Jamieson Cox and Kevin Johnston both in the race and in the overall standings. Check out the full results.
What’s next
While we have lots coming up (check the sidebar) we want to highlight the current My Next KW Home contest for two free entries to our May race. Check it out – it’s a wordsearch, and the contest closes this week!
