What a great way to open our 2024 season. Thank you to all who came out and congrats on a great race!
You never know what you’re going to get at Re-Fridgee-Eighter. Over our 26 years, we’ve seen it all – from shorts and sunny double digits to road spikes and slush. This year was a treat, with a perfect day at the University of Waterloo for a great road race.
Overall we saw some blistering fast times that rank all-time for this race (including a new Overall Male record by almost two minutes).
This was our first-ever 5k at Re-Fridgee-Eighter, and we loved the feedback and are bringing it back in 2025 for a 27th year!
