For Now, For Life: KW Run for POGO

Run Waterloo is proud to support the Kitchener Kids with Cancer run today at Kiwanis Park. On this cool morning we welcomed an impressive crowd of 750 participants who ran, jogged and walked either 5 or 10km around the park to show their dedication and support for this important cause. We also had a spirited 200m for the kids, who were cheered on as they raced their way through the corral. Check out the results here:

We are grateful for the community who showed their generous support today by running, walking, sponsorship, volunteering, and raising pledges that go towards POGO. This race raised a record of over $140,000, putting it on track to pass the one million dollar threshold in 2027! Truly inspiring. To learn more about the work POGO does for children and their families please visit their website.

Next up we have a brand new race, the Thanksgiving Day Mile, which precedes the KW Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade, followed by the fan favourite Fall Classic. Hope you will join us for some festive fall fun!
