It’s our runners taking on The Runway! This morning we brought out a crowd of 440 to run this fan favourite race that takes place at the Region of Waterloo International Airport in Breslau for the 10th Annual. With the expansive backdrop of fluffy clouds and the smooth tarmac taxiway to run those Runway laps, we get why this race hit the top of your list. All the highs and none of the lows. The kids were flying high as well with the 200m fun run, bringing the soaring energy with wings outstretched as they took off down the tarmac. The cool thing about this race is that you don’t have to be a kid to feel the sense of wonder and awe of getting to run on the same pavement where the planes touch down, far behind security gates we don’t normally get to cross. A fun flight of fancy as we wind down our summer racing calendar.
