The only time I was on a horse was long ago and far away… a hot day in 1965, visiting the ancient city of Petra, carved out of a hillside in the desert of Jordan.
Oh wow! That is a long time ago! Thanks for sharing Aidan!
I once hit black ice and parked the car in a horse paddock with the horses.
It was not a good plan!
Hi Marjolein! Hah! Thanks for sharing! I hope everyone was okay!
Fact: Horses aren’t as fast as people think. I once caught up to a horse who had stopped at the bottom of the Glasgow hill towards Sawmill Rd. in Conestogo, and told the horse I’d be racing him up the hill. I won, but in fairness to the horse, he didn’t understand that we were racing, and he was pulling a buggy full of people. If I win, please give my free entry to someone else because I’d rather take photos than run.
Haha that is a great story Julie! We love having you out on the course taking photos 🙂
