[Update: Amanda Phair and Marius Florea are Week 1 winners. 3 more draws upcoming!]
It’s back! For the first time since February 2020, we are excited to offer the ‘My Next KW Race’ and for the upcoming race it is bigger and better than ever before.
How long has it been since you last raced?
For us, it’s been a while since I have been consistently running. With the arrival of our third child it has been hard to find the time to get back into it. But with races back up and running (no pun intended) this might just be the motivation we need to get back at it.
So what do you say? Are you going to join us at the 45th Annual Waterloo Classic‘ this year?
We’d love to see you! So much so that we are giving away (for FREE) two race entries per week until race day!
To enter all you have to do is tell us – How many times you’ve run the Waterloo Classic. If this will be your 40th, that’s amazing. If it’s your first time…even better!
Draw dates every Monday:
May 23 – from blog comments and Facebook event comments
May 30 – from blog comments, Facebook event comments, and Instagram posts (not comments, tag Run Waterloo AND My Next KW Home) since May 24
June 6 – from Facebook event comments and Instagram posts since May 31
June 13 – from Facebook event comments and Instagram posts since June 7
Already registered for the race? No problem! You’ll be given the opportunity to use the free entry for any future Run Waterloo race.

Mike and Laura,
Congratulations on your growing family! It has been two and a half years since my last in-person race, a snowy Musagetes 5km in December, 2019. Iβve run the two virtual 10km Classics since then, bringing my Waterloo Classics total to 40. Every year since 1982!
Thank you Aidan! Oh wow! 40 Waterloo Classics has to be a record! That is incredible!
Thanks for always making these entries available, I ran the Conestogo race and this past weekend ran in Ottawa with 25 k other runners. Itβs an amazing feeling to be out racing again in person.
Thank you Emma! that must have been amazing!
This would be my first ever 10k! It’s been several years since doing any real running π¬, so it’s a little daunting even thinking about going that distance!
Thanks for sharing Dan!! You will do great!
Loving these! Contestants, remember that after tonight’s draw, the rules change for next week!
