So, what are these member bibs?
Common question! There are a few key points to help shed light on this unconventional program.
1. You must be identified during a race with a bib. We give out “race bibs” at kit pickup with chips attached, but you can choose to wear this bib in addition to / instead of that bib. (It is never mandatory to wear a member bib.)
2. This is a personalized bib that puts your choice of name on your front. It makes you easily recognizable by any spectator.
3. In past versions of this bib, you had to wear the bibs together because the timing chip was glued to the race bib. This year, with the reusable chips, you still must pick up your race bib, but you don’t need to wear the race bib as long as you have the member bib and timing chips combination.
4. These are only available to current RW Members.
5. If you wear the bib, you acknowledge that any on-course marshals can’t direct you. You must know if say you are in a 10k and there is also a 5k and that there are different turns. The marshal can’t help you.
6. You can choose to order multiple bibs if you are a scrapbooker etc.
This program was massively successful pre-pandemic, but this is our first order since 2019. Stand out this year in April and beyond!
