Course maps

We had to remove the woodchip section this year as it is no longer maintained by the City of Cambridge. There are still fantastic and scenic Riverside Park trails.
There is one water station for the 5k, at the 2k mark.
There are three water stations for the 11k, at the 2k, 6k and 9k marks.
There are no water stations for the 1.1k.
There is a section along Eagle St and King St where the 11k runners must run on the sidewalk.

The Train

Be prepared for trains. It’s a fun feature of the course over which we have no control. If you get stuck, embrace it 🙂

Course Rules

It is every participant’s responsibility to know the course and the race assumes no responsibility for any missed turns. Each turn will be marshaled and signed. Courses are pending approval and may change with municipal needs.
Time limit: 10 minutes per kilometer. Starting at the half way mark of the 11k, if a participant does not reach a km mark by this calculated time, the participant will be asked to move to the sidewalk and finish the race as a pedestrian, unassisted by race support. Participants are asked to familiarize themselves with the course route if this situation might be a possibility to them. We wish to minimize traffic disruption caused by our event, and value the support of Police services regarding participant safety.

Participant swag

Stay tuned for the 2020 designs!

Every finisher receives the set of two finisher dog tags, including the 1.1k.
Every participant (including kids’ half mile) that signs up by November 1st at midnight will receive a t-shirt in their selected size. When choosing a t-shirt, consult this guide.
