Brand new to the village of Conestogo is the first-ever road race: cone5togo!
It’s a spring 5k that will test your fitness on a relatively flat rural road course.
We’re doing everything we can to bring racing opportunities back to Waterloo. This is an idea we’ve been working over for a few years and this spring is the perfect confluence of factors that make it possible.
We have a 250-person cap for this race considering the venue size and out-and-back course. All finishers of the 5k and untimed 2k kid’s fun run receive a finisher medal. There are also great souvenir t-shirts available for additional purchase.
Now that the temperatures are climbing above zero and we are gaining 5-ish minutes of daylight each day, this is a great time to take on a new fresh-air challenge. Spring is a great time for goal-setting, and late March is the perfect time. The 5k distance is a standard benchmark for experienced and new runners alike.
We try as hard as we can to put on a good race while keeping the price as low as possible. See you on March 26!
