Thank you for joining us at the 15th RememberRun in Cambridge, Ontario on November 4, 2023.
This event is an annual tradition since 2009, and this year it raised over $2,500 (and counting) for the Preston Legion Poppy Fund. Even though this race is no longer held at the Preston Legion (due to lack of permit to run on roads), we still enjoyed flags, a piper, and of course the presence of Preston Legion veterans at the finish line.
The atmosphere was perfect for a mid-fall trail race. One hundred free race photos are online and hundreds more will follow. They show a gorgeous day in the largest park in Cambridge. We will be back in Riverside Park in 2024 for another great event.
Congratulations to all participants, whether walking or running, in your 100th race or 1st. The race was won by two Cambridge residents, Jacob Zerko and Sarah Gonzalez-Day. Jacob’s time was the fifth-fastest ever.
