…for the 4th annual Cone5togo run! Today we welcomed 170 runners to our scenic course located at the Conestoga Golf Club in charming small town Conestogo.
We had some chilly and windy conditions this morning but that didn’t dampen the lively pre-race excitement in the air, as we were also treated to the perks of the sun shining and clear, dry roads.
The hallmark of the Cone5togo is the fast, flat, out-and-back 5k course that was popular with both our competitive and leisurely runners, and we enjoyed hearing from several participants that they were thrilled with the speedy time they set on this ideal course. Well done!
We also featured a 1k fun run, which always draws a youthful crowd of happy smiles and unmatched energy. Truly an accomplishment for each and every budding runner!

We thrive with the support of so many volunteers and organizations that help make this race and many others possible. We’d like to give special thanks to the Police services and St. Johns Ambulance for keeping our participants safe out on the roads, Dominos Pizza for the post-race slices, as well as to the Conestoga Golf & Country Club for lending us their scenic venue for this event.
