To run, or to rib?

The obvious answer is, why not both!

Happy June, my fellow running enthusiasts! Are you ready to lace up your sneakers and run the upcoming Waterloo Classic or maybe running for ribs is more up your alley? From the adrenaline-pumping 5K and 10K routes to running for ribs there’s a race for everyone to enjoy this summer!

Now, onto the exciting part! You have a chance to run at one of these events, but on us! We want everyone to experience the thrill of participating in Run Waterloo events, and that’s why we’re hosting this contest where this month you can win one of two FREE entries, to either the Waterloo Classic or Run at Ribfest race! Here’s how to participate:

  • Follow @mynextkwhome on Facebook or Instagram to stay updated on all things running-related.
  • Leave a comment below, telling us why you’re excited about participating in the Waterloo Classic race/Run at Ribfest.
  • Share this blog post on your favorite social media platform, using the hashtag #RunWaterlooGiveaway.

The winner will be chosen at random on Monday, June 5 at 9pm from the comments, so be sure to leave your thoughts and share the excitement with your friends. The lucky winner will receive a complimentary race entry for their chosen event, giving them an opportunity to be part of this incredible event without spending a dime! If you have already registered, you will be given the option to transfer the entry to a friend or defer your free entry to another race.

Remember, the Waterloo Classic and the Run at Ribfest are more than just events; in very different ways, each event is an unforgettable experience that brings together the running community and celebrates the joy of pushing your limits. Don’t miss out on this chance to win a free entry and make memories that will last a lifetime!

As a university of waterloo alumni, I love coming back to the tri-city area for a visit while getting some running in.
