Our first live event in two years is on the calendar!
We have missed this so much, and we are currently selling tickets to the 24th Re-Fridgee-Eighter on February 13.
It’s a great winter race with a deep tradition, but we want you to know three things about COVID-19:
– We have strong guidelines in development with Region of Waterloo Public Health with assistance from Athletics Ontario, that include mandatory vaccination
– If the race is cancelled due to COVID-19, your entry is deferred to 2023
– If you cannot attend due to a self-assessment, your entry is deferred to 2023
With these policies, we are striving to keep our community, including runners and volunteers, as safe as possible. No participant will lose their entry fee on account of COVID-19.
Outdoor running is such a blessing and we can’t wait!
