You’re invited to the 6th annual Laurier Loop!
Choose between a 10KM, 5KM, 2.5KM run or participate in one of three relays. All pledges are donated to Laurier’s own Sun Life Financial Movement Disorders Research and Rehabilitation Centre (MDRC). Whether you’re an avid runner or just want to enjoy a fun run with fellow Golden Hawks, this is the race for you.
The Sun Life Financial MDRC is Canada’s first movement disorders centre to directly support individuals through research, development and evaluation of new exercise programs. Over 100,000 Canadians are affected by Parkinson’s disease – lacking the ability to run and have difficulty performing daily functions such as breathing, movement and balance. The Centre supports over 800 of these people each year, and designs unique exercise programs for them to help manage their disease.
