Commentary
We are still looking at tweaking some events (distances) at various races, for example: timing the Re-Fridgee-Eighter 3k, or removing the Fall Classic 10k. Laurier Loop will continue to have individual events, but the focus is shifting to the 4×2.5k relay race. Baden is shifting focus to the sprint duathlon. Big announcements still coming for Classic events as well as Harvest Half.
Note: we are not printing monthly calendars in 2019.

Will there be any Jan 1st discounts again?
We are going to launch earlier this year. Still working out the exact promotion.
Similar to what you did with the Waterloo Classic this year, would it be possible to start the Harvest Half at 8:00am or 8:30am in 2019? The temperature the past two years has been unbearably hot to run a Half Marathon with a start time of 9:00am.
Thanks Sarah – we are very keenly aware of this issue. We have fundamental changes to this event for 2019 that will play a big part in the answer (no spoilers yet!). Our intention is to go as early as the permits and volunteers are able to go. Also, it’s worth noting that in five years, we have had three HOT and two COLD.
ENDURrace Doubleheader? Are both events being held on the same day?
Absolutely! We stumbled upon the idea by accident this year (snow storm), and participants LOVED it.
no straight running event for the Baden run?
The straight running events haven’t been finalized yet. But the sprint duathlon becomes the featured event.
sure hope you can keep the longer distance run…love going up the steep hill and ringing the bell 🙂
