Our inaugural Run Pure + Simple series, presented by Adventure Guide, continued this past weekend with the second event: Riverside Roughly Five.
It proved to be a challenging trail race at Riverside Park in Cambridge. At the $10 price point – free to Run Waterloo members – all runners were full of smiles up and down the steep, technical trails.
Hundreds of free photos of this event are posted to Flickr and are also available directly from the results.
Congratulations to all participants! Here are your inaugural winners:
The Riverside Roughly Five was designed to be a complete opposite of the next event in this series, the Musagetes Five. Riverside Roughly Five is a challenging, technical, trail experience that played off the “rough” measurements of some races. The Musagetes Five will be a flat, paved, trail race, and certified for 5 km.
Whether you’re running on urban roads, technical trails or paved paths, just getting out and discovering your outdoors is what this is all about. The next event is November 25; see you there!
Huge thanks to the sponsors that make this possible, especially Adventure Guide!
