If your Run Pure event comes with a free t-shirt and/or t-shirt purchase, we want to make sure you get the right size! This policy is designed to help you make the best decision with the most information.
1. Sizing

BASICS
We have a roster of shirts that we use:
- Most of the time, it is the very popular ATC (The Authentic T-shirt), models S350 (unisex) and L350 (female) shirts. You can safely assume this is the shirt unless otherwise specified.
- From time to time, we vary from this popular shirt, such as using a special sublimated Club shirt with custom sizing (eg. 2025 Fall 5 KM Classic, 2022 Waterloo Classic, 2022 Re-Fridgee-Eighter, and 2019 RememberRun. We might also use the long-sleeved cotton Gildan HC 5400 (2019 and 2020 Fall Classic) or Anvil Triblend (2020 RememberRun). If one of these is used, we will be super clear about it and make extra efforts to make sure you are looking at the right sizing chart.
It’s important to note that due to availability, the options on the Race Roster page may be more limited than what is below.

Online: When you register for the race in Race Roster, you will be presented with a drop-down list of choices. Not all of the above sizes may be offered. The deadline for t-shirt order is clear in the registration process for each race.
Some events only have a limited number of t-shirts available in any given size; this will be clear through the registration process.
In a rare case where we can’t get these exact ATC shirts, we will do our best to get similarly-sized shirts. If there is a pronounced sizing difference, we will email all participants with the change and the option to switch using this process.
If applicable, after your registration, you may be able to log back into Race Roster and change your selection until two weeks out from the event. Learn how to use Race Roster editable data. This will be described on an event-by-event basis.
4. Switching your shirt
Online: Email Run Waterloo to change your size. Within two weeks of the event (or whenever the order is placed), the size you have selected is what you will get at kit pickup.
Before the race: When you show up to kit pickup, you will be given that shirt. No exceptions, and no trades.
After the race: If you didn’t receive a t-shirt, or you received a still-clean one that you want to switch, come to registration after the race to see if there are any unclaimed shirts. After the race starts, any unclaimed shirts can be traded to sold on a first-come, first-served basis to others (those who purchased the shirts initially will be refunded in this case).
