Running a race is always an adventure. Whether you’re chasing a PB, soaking in the race-day energy, or just hoping to make it to the finish line in one piece, every run has its own story. And now, sharing your race story could score you a free entry to an upcoming Run Waterloo event!

We’re giving away free race entries, and entering is easy—just join the fun in the comments!

How to Enter

• Describe your last race experience using only emojis or a gif! Was it all smiles and sunshine? A struggle but worth it? Maybe it involved some unexpected surprises? Whatever your race-day journey looked like, drop your best emoji summary or gif!
• There are three places to enter, in the comments of: this blog, on any contest post on the Run Waterloo instagram, or any contest post on the My Next KW Home instagram.

  We’ll randomly select winners from the comments, so get creative and tell us your story the emoji way! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨🎉

  Contest closes online April 10, 2025, and five lucky winners will be announced shortly after. Winners will get to pick one race from the following races – Baden Running Races, Lakeside Laps, Waterloo Classic or The Runway.
